Minisite Writer

I provide professional-quality writing for minisites. Good writers are hard to find; almost anyone with even amateur writing skills can, and will, bill themselves as a minisite content writer. I have worked with many minisite writers and found I had to 'try out' at least 10 for every truly skilled one I found. Read on:
You need a professional writer to ensure your minisite content is of the highest quality. Poor or average quality writing will quickly show visitors - and prospective customers - that you have a second-rate site and subsequently provide second-rate information and services. They will leave quite quickly. They will not return, they will not refer your site to others. Quality makes a huge difference to consistency in website traffic, and to your visitors' referrals of your site.
Where can you find a top quality content writer? Most content writers are found through websites that provide freelancers, sites like oDesk and GetAfreelancer. Content writers are usually paid between $10 and $40 per 1000 words, depending on their skill and on their living costs wherever they live in the world. Sometimes you find a gem, a writer who is fast, reliable, skilled, consistent, and writes in an interesting way. But this is rare. That is why I am offering my writing for hire. I have been studying and publishing writing for over 25 years. Take a peek at some of my writing on the 'Minisite Samples' page.
Have you had a difficult time finding good minisite writers? More often than not, the writers you find will not have English as a first language, and their grammar and spelling may be questionable at best. It is common for minisite writers to spend extra time polishing the first script or two and returning them to you quickly... and then after you've begun paying them, their writing becomes sloppier and sloppier, later and later. And perhaps the most serious 'crime' I see in minisite writers: 'Filler'. So much of what they write is filler content; it does not tell anything important, is full of unnecessary words and phrases (I will give examples on the next page 'What I provide'), and is written in an uninteresting manner, as if the writer is neither knowledgeable nor interested in the content they are writing.

Good, professional writing is a skill, like any other. It takes years of study and practice to master. And then the writer must learn other special skills to tailor their writing to the specific needs of writing a minisite... I will outline these also on the next page, so you know what to look for in minisite scripts to make your website look and read 'professional', and so your website will be very 'friendly' to search engines. Search engine bots and spiders like to find certain content and keywords on your site, in order to 'bump up' your site and content in their search rankings. If you have automated advertising on your site, such as Google Adsense, a proper usage of keywords and language will help them to place the most targeted, relevant ads for your visitors.

I am a professional writer. Every script is important to me. I guarantee my work, before you even pay a dime. I provide samples. I provide other services, such as logos and banners. I've been a commercial designer for those same 25 years and you will see samples of that also. For minisite writing, I charge the medial, realistic rate of $25 per 1000 words. That is an excellent price for very good writing. If that sounds like candy to you, please read the next page to see exactly what you will be paying for if I write your minisite, and check out my sample pages also, for proof of quality.
